Thanks to everyone who sent food in for our shared lunch, we have so much food that we will be having a shared morning tea tomorrow!

Homework Free Week!

Room 6 will be having a homework free week as we have reached our 15 class rewards needed for a homework free week. The spelling lists are on Spelling City and I have uploaded the spelling list onto the year 3 and year 4 Homework blog. We will be learning our spelling and basic facts in class and will have our spelling and basic facts tests on Friday as usual.

Suter trip- The Man Who Painted a Blue Horse

Yesterday we braved the elements and made it to the Suter Gallery for our session with Esther. We looked at the work of Eric Carle and used his work to inspire us to create our own pieces of art. We painted patterns using tempera paint onto tissue paper then used the tissue to create a collage. We had lots of fun. A huge THANK YOU to the parents who came along to help out on our trip! ng

Suter Trip Today

Hi All Just to let you know that we will be going to the Suter Gallery today so bring your raincoats and umbrellas! we will be leaving school at 10.35. thanks

Hockey

We have been fortunate this term to have some hockey skills training with Beaky. We learnt how to hold the hockey stick and played lots of exciting games.

Suter Gallery Visit

We have a visit to the Suter Art Gallery on Wednesday 18th March at 9.30. We will be walking to the gallery and we will need at least 4 parents/helpers to accompany us. This visit will only go ahead if I have enough parents. Please email me if you are available to help. It is always a great way to look at art and spend time with a great bunch of children. I have 1 parent so far!
